What did the person contribute to the Civil Rights Movement?

 

She did not give up her seat to a white person.

 

How did the other people respond to the person then?

 

They thought she was rebelling and did not like her.

Many people consider her a hero for doing that, for then we’d still have slavery.

Organizing Your Presentation

 

Directions: Complete the following steps to organize your Civil Rights Movement slide show.

 

STEP ONE: Write a brief description of your topic.

 

 

Rosa Parks was a brave girl, she sat on the bus and did not give up her seat to white person. They had to arrest her in fear that she was rebelling, she was later let out. She then joined in on the mission to set black people free from their lives of slavery.

 

STEP TWO: Decide what information you will present on each slide.

SLIDE 2: Rosa Parks was a brave woman for staying on her seat even after a White Person asked her to give up her seat.

 

SLIDE 3: Rosa Parks was arrested later that day in fear that she was rebelling.

 

SLIDE 4: Rosa Parks joined in the fight against Slavery later on.

 

SLIDE 5:  Rosa Parks started to boycott some buses.

 

SLIDE 6:  She became a seamstress after her husband encouraged her to go and get her Diploma.
