Within this lesson, student seamlessly utilize technology to solve a problem. The students use a variety of electronic resources to gather information and create a multimedia presentation to be shared with other students in the class. The technology-based tools are easily and routinely integrated, providing a rich context for students' understanding of the pertinent concepts, themes, and processes. Students perceive email and internet based research as tools to solve an authentic problem relating to the overall theme of the lesson.
