Example includes Grades 6-8

In this lesson, students are working in cooperative groups. The students are completing a story and writing poetry. Within this example, the technology is used as an extension activity or as an enrichment exercise to the instructional program. Students use the web to view poetry and then they submit their own creations to the web site. Another group of students are involved in a creative writing project which utilizes a text based computer application to type and publish the writing. The technology-based tools serve as a supplement.
