The main points made in this session is that there are many tools available and are free that help foster and enhance student learning and growth despite intimidating obstacles. My takeaways from Brian's presentation are many. I felt motivated in trying to overcome obstacles that get in the way of student learning and growth. I felt support that what I do in the classroom with technology is valuable. And I felt a big sence of relief that there are teachers out there who are developing students as a whole person A person who is a critical thinker, is proactive about their learning and a caring, consciencous individual is what we need. That was supported by Brian and his tudents' attempt at including a student who was ill and had to stay at home.

New and interesting things at the Google site. I was not aware that Google has so many different products to offer beside being a search web site.

The main point of this presentation deals with learning how to use google documents and how to create some files on the webpage. This is something new to me and something I didn't know about before. It is a short presentation but it is loaded with so much information that it is hard to keep up with it. I had to watch it about 3 or 4 times in a row to fully comprehend what was being taught. It was a great resource to learn about.
