The main points made during this presentation were that there are many reasons why teachers stay away from using technology in the classroom, such as safety, having the time, and teaching literacy. The presentator made a good point by saying that we as educators have to make the time to learn to use the new literacy tools (at least participate in them) because if not students will continue to change and evolve and we will remain teaching literacy as some sort of history class... how people "used" to write.
