San Antonio ISD uses five different handheld computer-based assessments, including TPRI/Tejas LEE, Dibels/IDEL, and CIRCLE.
This initiative impacts age 3-4 year old students, their teachers, as well as K-3 teachers in SAISD. These observational assessments --such as TPRI and CIRCLE-- are among the most important tools for teachers and learning specialists, especially in the early grades.
Additional handheld initiatives include the Learning in Hand fifth grade wireless Palm Tungsten C initiative, Data-Driven Administrator Seminars (DDAS) and others.
