Administrator Responsibilities for Gradespeed and Attendance Issues:

 

  1. Verify that Weekly Attendance Verification Reports are properly reviewed by teachers, signed, returned, and kept on file at the campus as the official attendance audit document.
  2. The administrator will be notified by the attendance clerk if teachers are not recording attendance. 
  3. Follow up with teachers to determine the reason for the lack of attendance posting in Gradespeed.
    1. If teachers are unable to post attendance due to technical issues, identify why the teacher did not follow procedures and contact the Campus Contact to resolve the technical issue, and notify the attendance clerk to print class rosters so that the teacher can record attendance.
    2. If teachers do not post attendance in the Gradespeed system by the specified time, administrators are to take action to ensure that attendance is correctly posted on subsequent days (other than connectivity or hardware issues, teachers are to record attendance).
