Teacher Responsibilities and Contact Procedures for Gradespeed and Attendance Issues

 

Teacher Responsibilities for Regular Attendance Posting in Gradespeed:

 

  1. Post attendance to Gradespeed at the designated time.
  2. Elementary, Pk-6 Academies and Secondary campuses will take official ADA attendance at 10:00am and post to their second period class.
  3. Sign a weekly attendance verification report that will be provided by the attendance office.
  4. Return the signed attendance verification report to the attendance office within 24 hours of receipt.

 

 

Teacher Responsibilities if unable to post attendance in Gradespeed:

 

  1. Contact the Attendance Clerk immediately.
  2. Send a student to the attendance office to obtain a printed class roster.
  3. The attendance clerk will give the student a printed roster.
  4. Complete the printed attendance roster no later than 15 minutes after receiving the document from the attendance office.
  5. Return the completed attendance roster to the attendance office no later than 30 minutes after receiving the roster.
