Campus Designated Contact for Gradespeed Responsibilities:

  1. Upon receipt of notification from the attendance clerk that a teacher is unable to post attendance, contact the teacher to determine the problem.
  2. Troubleshoot the reason for the inability to post attendance.
    1. Connectivity Issues: Contact the Help Desk

                                                               i.      Internet Down

                                                             ii.      Page inaccessible

                                                            iii.      Hardware not functioning

    1. Does not know how to post attendance

                                                               i.      Provide the teacher with instruction

                                                             ii.      Provide refresher training for the campus if needed on attendance and Gradebook use.

    1. Login Problems

                                                               i.      Verify that the teacher is listed in the GS system

                                                             ii.      Reset the teachers password

                                                            iii.      Walk the teacher through the login steps to create a new password

                                                           iv.      Verify that the email address is typed correctly

                                                             v.      Verify that the password is reset

                                                           vi.      Verify that the Cycle is correct

                                                          vii.      Verify that a pop-up blocker is not installed on the computer

                                                        viii.      Lastly contact the Help Desk for additional help

    1. Problems with using the Gradebook

                                                               i.      GS contact should provide any support for teachers who need assistance in entering grades, setting up properties, adding assignment, etc.  all basic functions of the grading program

                                                             ii.      Provide refresher training to campus if needed for Gradebook use.

                                                            iii.      Call the Help Desk for additional help when  all avenues at the campus level are exhausted.

  1. Any Gradebook or attendance issue that cannot be resolved by the Campus GS Contact Call the Help Desk.  All calls from the campus concerning Gradespeed issues
