Be
able at the start of each period to print class rosters for teachers who
are unable to post attendance in Gradespeed due to connectivity or
hardware problems
Keep a
listing of teachers who are unable to post attendance in Gradespeed by
period, recording the teacher’s name and number
Send a
copy of the list to the Campus GS Contact each period
Check
teacher attendance postings in Gradespeed using the “Display Teacher
Progress” report 15 minutes after the start of each period.
Post
attendance on the Region 20 system for returned and completed printed
class rosters.(Rosters are to be
printed for Substitutes and teachers who have connectivity problems only)
(Use of a printed class roster is not
available for teachers on a daily basis unless the Administrative
Designee for the campus determines a need for a paper roster)
Make
corrections to attendance in the Region 20 system based on information
sent to the office.
At the
end of the day, check all teacher postings in Gradespeed and verify those
results against the attendance rosters to make certain that all teachers
reported attendance for the day.
Contact
the Administrative Designee with the names of any teachers who did not
post attendance for the day.
Each
morning, check the error screen from Region 20, WAT1068, for the previous
day’s attendance to determine any errors that may have occurred in
posting.
Contact Kathy O’Neill, Larry Reddell,
or Gwen Bolden in PEIMS and Data Services if there are any major
attendance problems
Attendance Clerk Weekly Responsibilities:
Each
Monday morning, print out the Teacher Verification Reports from
Gradespeed.
Distribute
the weekly reports to the teachers at the start of the week for signature
Verify
that all teachers have signed and returned the weekly attendance report.
Contact
the Administrative Designee with the names of any teachers who do not
return the weekly attendance report.
Each
Friday, save a copy of all teachers class rosters
to the desktop for backup.
