GradeSpeed implementation
is underway with 14 schools in Cohort 1, 12 schools in
Cohort 2 for a total of 4 cohorts before January, 2005.

Digital Video Distribution
System (DVDS) new account creation will be completed
by September 14th. New digital video server--speeding
up intranet access to video content--will also come online
by mid September.

As a Campus Technology Representative, you have the opportunity to
participate in ongoing professional development through the Office of

reps (1 per campus) will be sent to the TCEA 2005 State Conference in

Graphic Organizer Software Purchase Initiative
Based on TEKS/TAKS, it's clear that knowing how to create graphic
organizers improves student scores when they are tested on using
graphic organizers. "To know is to know how to make," as the
constructivist teacher would say. That's why Instructional Technology--in
collaboration with Reading/English Language Arts and the Social
Studies Department--is pursuing integration of electronic graphic
organizers like Kidspiration (K-3) and Inspiration (4-8) into
the scope and sequence. What's more, Instructional Technology
hopes to go before the School Board in October to purchase Kidspiration
and Inspiration mentioned above. Find out more about graphic
