Background
“He who learns from one who is learning,” goes a Native American proverb I stumbled upon one day, “drinks from a flowing river.” Here at Instructional Technology Services, our focus is on being anytime/anywhere, 24 hour/7days a week learners. In fact, it’s not enough to learn ONLY when we’re at workshops or attending a conference. We have to be committed to learning all the time. Right click the image below to view it at full size:

In fact, we DO LEARN ALL THE TIME. But the difference isn’t in being exposed to new information, but rather, being engaged by our reflections on that information, the resulting ideas for implementing change. I invite you to join us in this new online medium–a web log, or blog–and learn how to subscribe to the content. As print newspapers die, it becomes even more important that all of us engage our environment and learn in from a variety of media.
In fact, new TEKS Proclamations for 2010 and 2011 expect it…are you teaching and leading using digital media? Read the ENGAGE Online Learners Newsletter to learn how.
“He who learns from one who is learning, drinks from an endless fountain.”
